Guido Schommer is chairman of the board of reflecta ag, a consulting firm based in the Swiss capital Berne, which he joined in 2011. Based on a strong experience and network in Swiss politics, he’s a senior advisor for industry associations in the health and in the legal sector on national and regional levels and in organizational development for the public administration and for NGO’s from all sectors. From 2000 to 2008, Guido Schommer served as general secretary for the Swiss Free Democratic Party (FDP, one of the Government parties), leading the professional teams that conducted national election campaigns and dozens of referenda campaigns and leading the scientific staff supporting the parliamentary group. Before and after his time as secretary general, he was active in communication positions both in the party and in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds university master degrees in business economics, in communications management and in european and international business law.
